The JG-PP Goal

The ultimate goal of the JG-PP Program is to implement alternatives identified using the validated JG-PP Methodology. Stakeholders apply the six-phase methodology within participating acquisition and sustainment communities, to implement material and process changes to reduce HazMats. By fostering joint cooperation between the Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Navy, NASA, DLA, and Industry, the goal can be met more efficiently and economically. Joint cooperation identifies shared opportunities, common qualification requirements, and reduces duplication of effort. The bottom line: JG-PP reduces overall costs of eliminating or reducing HazMats and processes.
