Joint Test Report
The JTR documents the testing results. Four potential alternatives, Alumazite ZDA, TT-P-645B Zinc Molybdate Primer, TT-P-664D High Solids Primer, and ZRC Cold Galvanizing Compound, were tested in accordance with the JTP. Based on the results of this testing, TT-P-664D High Solids Primer and TT-P-645B Zinc-Molybdate Primer are both acceptable alternatives to zinc chromate primer, with TT-P-664D being preferred, for providing galvanic corrosion protection for inserts and fasteners used in aircraft engines manufactured by P&W-UTC.
