Dry Film Lubricants
A PAR identifies the baseline process and discusses potential alternative DFLs being considered for use in turbine engines. The PAR also summarizes an analysis of environmental, safety, and health issues associated with the current DFLs and the alternative DFLs, and documents the down-selection process. In selecting alternatives to be tested, the project participants considered hazardous constituents and other factors affecting use of the coating.
