Technology Survey

A Technology Survey was developed to summarize the available low- or no-VOC alternative technologies for applications at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control and Information Systems Companies. Alternative materials and technologies discussed include high-solids coating, 100% solids liquid coatings, waterborne coatings, ion vapor deposition, powder coating, radiation-curable coatings, self-priming topcoats, and supercritical carbon dioxide spraying. This report contains a description of the search strategy used to identify the alternatives, a brief description of each identified alternative, and bibliographic citations of the relevant articles that were identified during literature searches.
