Welcome to the DoD Laser Applications Proceedings CD.

This meeting is a DoD sponsored event; therefore, registration is open to government personnel and
their contractors only.

This forum is designed to promote the exchange of research efforts, applications, and projects on the use of laser technologies for the maintenance and sustainment of Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems. Representatives from the DoD, including the United States Air Force, Army, and Navy, and their associated contractors will discuss laser technology needs, completed and ongoing projects in the use of laser technologies for the maintenance and sustainment of DoD weapon systems, and completed and ongoing research and development efforts. Specific areas of interest include organic coatings removal, coatings application, surface cleaning, composite surface activation, metallic/non metallic surface treatments, and environmental and safety considerations.
