To
perform a Hexavalent Chromium Coating Alternatives technology survey
focusing on organic coatings to compile information on prior work
accomplished, identify gaps in the current technology and identify
potential alternatives for future demonstration/validation project.
To
develop, demonstrate and implement an operational deep web search
portal for qualified DoD
users. The search portal will provide access to selected deep web
sites of interest to DoD
Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health (ESOH)
staff.
Project
objective is to identify, test, and validate alternatives to Aliphatic
Isocyanate Urethanes on carbon steel structural elements across NASA
and AFSPC
installations (Test Stands, Shuttle Support, Weapon Systems, etc.).
Identify
and validate alternatives to cadmium for all DoD
systems and NASA
applications, and integrate and take full advantage of other cadmium
replacement efforts.
