Potential Alternatives Report
The PAR identifies the baseline process; discusses the potential alternative technologies; identifies initial environmental, safety, and health screening data; and documents the down-selection process. Alternative technologies considered in the PAR include advanced film technology, high-solids coating, metal wire arc spraying, powder coating, and waterborne coating. Eleven primer/topcoat systems were selected for screening in accordance with the JTP.
